Free CPR Training Event
American Heart Association, Centura Health, Exempla Healthcare, and HealthONE Work to Save Lives and Train Thousands in CPR.

APRIL 9, 2011
9am to 5pm
University of Denver, Hamilton Gymnasium

WHAT: Free CPR Training
Join Centura Health, Exempla Healthcare, HealthONE, and the American Heart Association at a record-breaking event and learn this important life-saving skill! Our goal is to train 5,000 people in one day!

Basic CPR skills will be taught by trained professionals. Participants will walk away with the skills to save a life, however, CPR certification is not provided. It is important to keep in mind that a person needs to know the skills to save a life—that card in their wallet is only an additional benefit to them. That card will not save someone who is suffering from sudden cardiac arrest on the football field, sidewalk, or at the pool—basic CPR knowledge and skill will.

WHEN: April 9, 2011; 9:00am to 5:00pm
Trainings will occur every hour on the hour throughout the day. The first training begins at 9am.
The last training begins at 4pm.

WHERE: University of Denver, Ritchie Center, Hamilton Gymnasium
2240 East Buchtel Blvd, Denver, Co 80210
