Grow A Reader

Pikes Peak Library District has a new service for home child care providers called “Grow a Reader.” The themed literacy kits each feature five books, a detailed activity booklet, and most of the supplies and learning toys necessary for the activity. They are available for checkout to home child care providers for three weeks. Each child care provider is required to attend a free Every Child Ready to Read class before they are eligible to check out a kit.

One hour of continuing education credit will be offered. Registration required - call the East Library at 531-6333, ext.1403.
