The Powerful Role of Stories in Supporting Early Language and Literacy

The first session in the Cradling Literacy training series explores the way that we all make meaning of our lives throught the stories that we create each day. Through our experiences with others and the world around us, we build new stories that later become our life novels. It is through stories that young children begin to organize events that occur around and to them as well as learn essential skills needed to read and write.
